Longevity of your Facial Thread Lift Results

The longevity of MINT PDO facial thread lifts vary from patient to patient. Generally, the longevity of your results depends on factors such as your unique anatomy, degree of skin laxity, design of the thread, number of threads used, medical history, and treatment frequency. MINT PDO threads usually take between 6-8 months to dissolve, leaving behind the additional collagen that your body has produced during this time, which can last for up to 18 months.
Facial Thread Lift maintenance is based on individual preferences, goals, and responsiveness to previous treatments. Once the threads have dissolved, you can receive a thread lift again and customise the lift to the current status of your skin. Some patients may want a full-face thread lift if the effects have worn off, whereas others may opt for the touch-up to simply maintain their results. Therefore, the number of times you can undergo a Facial Thread Lift can vary. Notably, patients who get PDO thread lifts can still be eligible for surgical facelifts in the future.

Minimally Invasive Non-Surgical Thread (MINT) is one of the few polydioxanone (PDO) threads in the market to have been clinically studied for its safety and efficacy. There are more than six years of published articles and journals to back up the benefits that MINT PDO threads offer.
